Breaking News: 24 अगस्त से SIM पर सख्ती; 9 नंबर हुए तो नया कनेक्शन नहीं मिलेगा
Breaking News: मोबाइल सिम कार्ड रखने वालों के लिए जरूरी खबर (Important news for mobile SIM card holders.) है। दूरसंचार विभाग (Department of Telecommunications) (DoT) 24 अगस्त 2026 से तय मोबाइल कनेक्शन सीमा को सख्ती से लागू करने जा (The fixed mobile connection limit will be strictly enforced.) रहा है। जिन लोगों के नाम पहले से अधिकतम अनुमत मोबाइल कनेक्शन दर्ज (Maximum permitted mobile connections registered.) हैं, उन्हें नया सिम जारी नहीं किया जाएगा।
देश के ज्यादातर हिस्सों में एक व्यक्ति (In most parts of the country, a person) के नाम अधिकतम 9 मोबाइल कनेक्शन हो सकते (A maximum of 9 mobile connections can be held in one’s name.) हैं। जम्मू-कश्मीर, असम और नॉर्थ-ईस्ट के लिए यह सीमा 6 कनेक्शन (For the North-East, this limit is 6 connections.) है।
DoT ने टेलीकॉम कंपनियों को ऐसे ग्राहकों (DoT has instructed telecom companies to pay Rs. 100 cr on such customers.) की पहचान करने और सीमा पूरी होने पर नया कनेक्शन रोकने के निर्देश (Instructions to stop new connections upon reaching the limit.) दिए हैं। इसके लिए Digital Intelligence Platform (DIP) की मदद ली जाएगी।
अपने नाम पर कितने SIM हैं, ऐसे करें चेक
अगर आपको शक है कि आपके नाम पर कोई अनजान नंबर चल (An unknown number is running in the name) रहा है, तो Sanchar Saathi/TAFCOP के जरिए मोबाइल कनेक्शनों की जानकारी देख (View mobile connection information) सकते हैं। अनजान या गैर-जरूरी नंबर की रिपोर्ट कर उसे बंद कराने का विकल्प भी उपलब्ध (An option to report and block unknown or unwanted numbers is also available.) है।
यानी 24 अगस्त के बाद नया SIM लेने से पहले अपने नाम पर एक्टिव मोबाइल नंबर जरूर जांच (Make sure to verify the active mobile number linked to the name.) लें।
