Breaking News: चीनी के दाम में उछाल पर सरकार का पलटवार, एथेनॉल नहीं गन्ने की कमी बनी वजह
Breaking News: त्योहारी सीजन से पहले चीनी के बढ़ते दाम (Rising sugar prices ahead of the festive season) ने आम लोगों की चिंता बढ़ा (Concerns among the general public have increased.) दी है। हाल के महीनों में कीमतों में करीब 40% तक बढ़ोतरी दर्ज (Increase recorded) की गई है। सरकार ने साफ किया है कि इस तेजी के लिए एथेनॉल उत्पादन को जिम्मेदार ठहराना सही नहीं (It is not correct to attribute the surge to ethanol production.) है।
सरकार के मुताबिक, गन्ने की पैदावार में कमी, फसल पर बीमारी (According to the government, a decline in sugarcane yield and crop disease.) और ज्यादा बारिश के साथ बढ़ती मांग कीमतों में उछाल की प्रमुख वजह (Rising demand coupled with heavy rainfall is the primary reason for the surge in prices.) हैं। वहीं, एथेनॉल के लिए चीनी का इस्तेमाल पहले के मुकाबले कम (Less sugar being used for ethanol compared to before.) हुआ है और उत्पादन में मक्का जैसे अनाजों की हिस्सेदारी बढ़ी है।
वैश्विक बाजार में भी उत्पादन और सप्लाई को लेकर दबाव (There is also pressure on production and supply in the global market.) बना हुआ है। हालांकि, सरकार का कहना है कि घरेलू जरूरत पूरी करने के लिए देश में पर्याप्त चीनी स्टॉक उपलब्ध (Sufficient sugar stocks available in the country to meet domestic requirements.) है।
