Singrauli News: सिंगरौली के बैढ़न में 6 महीने से पाइपलाइन लीकेज, रोज बह रहा हजारों लीटर पानी; जिम्मेदारों पर उठे सवाल?

Singrauli News: सिंगरौली बैढ़न में नल-जल योजना (Tap-Water Scheme in Singrauli-Waidhan) के तहत बिछाई गई पाइपलाइन में लंबे समय से लीकेज होने के कारण रोजाना हजारों लीटर पानी व्यर्थ बह रहा (Thousands of liters of water are being wasted daily due to a long-standing leakage in the laid pipeline.) है। मामला बैढ़न स्थित भारतीय स्टेट बैंक के ठीक सामने का है (It is from right in front of the State Bank of India located there.) , जहां पाइपलाइन में करीब छह माह से लीकेज की समस्या (…where there has been a leakage problem in the pipeline for about six months.) बनी हुई है। लगातार पानी बहने के बावजूद अब तक इसकी मरम्मत नहीं कराई गई है।
स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि पाइपलाइन से लगातार (Locals say the pipeline is continuously leaking) पानी बहने की जानकारी नगर निगम के जिम्मेदार अधिकारियों को कई बार दी जा चुकी है (The information has been conveyed to the responsible officials of the Municipal Corporation several times.) । इसके बावजूद समस्या का स्थायी समाधान नहीं किया गया। सड़क किनारे पाइपलाइन से पानी निकलने के कारण जहां प्रतिदिन बड़ी मात्रा में पेयजल बर्बाद (A large quantity of drinking water is wasted daily due to leakage from a roadside pipeline.) हो रहा है, वहीं आसपास के क्षेत्र में भी पानी जमा होने की स्थिति बन रही है।
शिकायतों के बाद भी नहीं जागा नगर निगम, लोगों में नाराजगी
स्थानीय नागरिकों ने बताया कि एक ओर नगर निगम द्वारा जल संरक्षण और पानी की बचत (Local residents stated that, on one hand, the Municipal Corporation [promotes] water conservation and saving water…) को लेकर लोगों से अपील की जाती है, वहीं दूसरी ओर सार्वजनिक पेयजल व्यवस्था की पाइपलाइन से रोजाना हजारों लीटर पानी बर्बाद (Thousands of liters of water wasted daily from the public drinking water supply pipeline.) हो रहा है। छह माह से लीकेज की समस्या बने रहने के बावजूद जिम्मेदारों द्वारा मरम्मत नहीं कराए जाने से लोगों में नाराजगी (People are resentful because the authorities responsible have failed to carry out repairs.) है।
नागरिकों ने नगर निगम प्रशासन से मांग की है कि संबंधित स्थल का तत्काल निरीक्षण कराया (Citizens have demanded that the municipal corporation administration conduct an immediate inspection of the site in question.) जाए और पाइपलाइन के लीकेज की स्थायी मरम्मत कराई जाए, ताकि रोजाना हो रही हजारों लीटर पानी की बर्बादी को रोका (Permanent repairs should be carried out on the pipeline leakage to prevent the daily wastage of thousands of liters of water.) जा सके।
