Breaking News: पेटीएम पेमेंट्स बैंक पर RBI का बड़ा वार, शेड्यूल्ड बैंकों की सूची से बाहर; लाइसेंस रद्द होने के बाद एक और सख्त कदम
Breaking News: भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) ने पेटीएम पेमेंट्स बैंक लिमिटेड (The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has [taken action against] Paytm Payments Bank Limited.) (PPBL) के खिलाफ एक और बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए उसे ‘शेड्यूल्ड बैंक’ की सूची से हटा दिया (In another major action against it, it was removed from the list of ‘Scheduled Banks’.) है। RBI की अधिसूचना के अनुसार बैंक का नाम भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक अधिनियम, 1934 की दूसरी अनुसूची से बाहर (As per the notification, the bank’s name has been excluded from the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.) कर दिया गया है।
यह कदम बैंक के खिलाफ लंबे समय से चल रही नियामकीय कार्रवाई की अगली कड़ी (The next step in the long-running regulatory action against Kadam Bank.) है। इससे पहले RBI ने बैंक पर नए ग्राहक जोड़ने और बाद में खातों, वॉलेट व FASTag में नई राशि जमा करने पर प्रतिबंध लगाया (Imposed a ban on depositing new amounts.) था। इसके बाद बैंक का लाइसेंस भी रद्द किया जा चुका है।
RBI के नए फैसले से ग्राहकों के लिए कोई नई बड़ी पाबंदी नहीं लगाई (No major new restrictions have been imposed on customers due to the RBI’s new decision.) गई है। पुराने खातों या वॉलेट में मौजूद राशि को लागू नियमों के तहत निकाला (Withdrew the funds available in old accounts or wallets in accordance with applicable rules.) जा सकता है, लेकिन बैंक में नई राशि जमा करने की सुविधा पहले से ही प्रतिबंधित (However, the facility to deposit new amounts in the bank is already restricted.) है। पेटीएम पेमेंट्स बैंक पर हुई यह कार्रवाई उसकी पैरेंट कंपनी (This action taken against Paytm Payments Bank affects its parent company…) One97 Communications के लिए भी बड़ा झटका मानी जा रही है।
