Breaking News: E20 पेट्रोल पर सरकार का बड़ा फैसला; गन्ने और गुड़ से इथेनॉल बनाने पर रोक, मक्का उत्पादकों को भी झटका
Breaking News: सरकार ने पेट्रोल में 20 प्रतिशत इथेनॉल मिलाने की योजना (E20) के तहत (Under the government’s plan to blend 20 percent ethanol into petrol (E20) वर्ष 2026-27 के लिए नई खरीद नीति में अहम बदलाव किए (Significant changes were made to the new procurement policy.) हैं। नए टेंडर में गन्ने के रस, चीनी के सिरप और गुड़ के अवशेष से बने इथेनॉल को शामिल नहीं किया (The new tender does not include ethanol produced from sugarcane juice, sugar syrup, and jaggery residues.) गया है। इस फैसले का उद्देश्य पेट्रोल में इथेनॉल मिश्रण जारी रखते हुए देश में चीनी की उपलब्धता (The decision aims to ensure sugar availability in the country while continuing to blend ethanol in petrol.) बनाए रखना है।
भारत पेट्रोलियम कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड (BPCL) ने 16 अक्टूबर को तेल विपणन कंपनियों की ओर से करीब 11 अरब लीटर इथेनॉल की आपूर्ति (Supply of approximately 11 billion litres of ethanol by oil marketing companies in October) के लिए टेंडर जारी किया। यह आपूर्ति नवंबर से शुरू होने वाले नए आपूर्ति वर्ष के लिए निर्धारित की (Supplies were determined for the new supply year, which begins in November.) गई है।
नई व्यवस्था में टूटे चावल, भारतीय खाद्य निगम (Broken rice under the new system, Food Corporation of India) (FCI) के अतिरिक्त चावल और सी-हेवी मोलासेस से बनने वाले इथेनॉल के लिए बोलियां स्वीकार (Bids accepted for ethanol produced from C-heavy molasses) की जाएंगी। वहीं, मक्के से बनने वाले इथेनॉल की खरीद दर 71.86 रुपये से घटाकर 68.86 रुपये प्रति लीटर कर दी गई है। इससे मक्का आधारित इथेनॉल उत्पादकों के मुनाफे पर असर पड़ सकता (The profits of corn-based ethanol producers could be affected.) है।
महाराष्ट्र और कर्नाटक जैसे प्रमुख चीनी उत्पादक राज्यों में कम बारिश से उत्पादन प्रभावित होने की आशंका (Concerns that sugar production in major producing states could be impacted by low rainfall) है। ऐसे में सरकार का यह कदम घरेलू चीनी आपूर्ति को सुरक्षित रखने (In such a situation, this step of the government is to secure the domestic sugar supply.) और इथेनॉल उत्पादन के लिए वैकल्पिक कच्चे माल को बढ़ावा देने की दिशा में अहम (Significant step towards promoting alternative raw materials for ethanol production) माना जा रहा है।
