Singrauli Breaking News: निगाही वार्ड नंबर 22 की बैगा बस्ती (Baiga Settlement) में एक महीने पहले हुई मारपीट (An assault that took place a month ago) की घटना के बाद राजनीतिक पार्टियों के नेताओं (After the incident, leaders of political parties) और जनप्रतिनिधियों ने पीड़ित परिवारों से मुलाकात (Elected Representatives Met with the Affected Families) की और उनकी समस्याएं सुनीं। उस दौरान जनप्रतिनिधियों ने NCL मैनेजमेंट से बातचीत की (During the visit, public representatives held discussions with the NCL management.) और कहा कि बस्ती में जल्द ही पानी (Water will soon be available in the colony) , टॉयलेट, बिजली और साफ-सफाई की सुविधाएं (Sanitation facilities) दी जाएंगी।
लेकिन समय बीतने के बाद भी बैगा बस्ती के हालात (Conditions in the Baiga Settlement) वैसे ही हैं। स्थानीय लोगों का आरोप (Allegations by locals) है कि आज तक न तो रेगुलर पीने का पानी आया, न बिजली और न ही साफ-सफाई का कोई सही इंतज़ाम (No proper sanitation arrangements) हुआ। लोग भीषण गर्मी में पानी की समस्या से जूझ (Struggling with water problems in the scorching heat) रहे हैं, जबकि अंधेरे में रहने को मजबूर हैं।
ग्रामीणों (Villagers) का कहना है कि घटना के बाद कई नेता मौके पर पहुंचे (Several leaders reached the spot after the incident.) और आश्वासन (Assurance) दिया, लेकिन धीरे-धीरे सभी ने दूरी बना ली। लोगों का आरोप है कि NCL मैनेजमेंट ने जनप्रतिनिधियों की बातों को गंभीरता (It is alleged that the NCL management did not take the words of the public representatives seriously.) से नहीं लिया।
पीड़ित परिवारों ने बताया कि मारपीट की घटना (The victimized families reported the incident of physical assault.) के बाद उन्हें कई बार अस्पताल जाना (Going to the hospital many times) पड़ा, लेकिन आज तक उन्हें कोई स्थायी राहत नहीं मिल (They do not get any permanent relief) पाई। ऐसे में बस्ती वालों के बीच यह सवाल उठ (This question arose among the residents of the colony.) रहा है कि वे किस पर भरोसा करें? स्थानीय नागरिकों ने प्रशासन (Local citizens [appealed to] the administration.) और जनप्रतिनिधियों से मांग की है कि बैगा बस्ती में जल्द से जल्द बुनियादी सुविधाएं (A demand has been made to public representatives to provide basic amenities in the Baiga settlement as soon as possible.) मुहैया कराई जाएं, ताकि लोगों को राहत (So that people get relief) मिल सके।
