Breaking News: नई दिल्ली के जंतर-मंतर पर परीक्षा सुधारों (Exam reforms at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi) और पेपर लीक के खिलाफ कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (Cockroach Janata Party against paper leaks) (CJP) का आंदोलन 22वें दिन भी पूरे ज़ोरों पर जारी (The day is also in full swing.) है। सोशल एक्टिविस्ट सोनम वांगचुक ने अपनी अनिश्चितकालीन भूख हड़ताल (Social activist Sonam Wangchuk [began/continued] his indefinite hunger strike…) के 14वें दिन जनता से एक इमोशनल अपील (An emotional appeal to the public) की। उन्होंने कहा कि लोगों को किसी और में ‘हीरो’ या ‘गांधी’ ढूंढने के बजाय अपनी ज़िंदगी का हीरो खुद बनना (Becoming the hero of your own life.) चाहिए। उन्होंने साफ किया कि बदलाव सिर्फ सोशल मीडिया के सपोर्ट से ही मुमकिन (Clarified that change is possible only with support from social media.) है, लेकिन एक्टिव हिस्सेदारी (Active participation) से।
रविवार को एक दिन के उपवास का आह्वान
आंदोलन को बड़े पैमाने पर सपोर्ट (Massive support for the movement) देने के लिए, वांगचुक ने देश भर के नागरिकों से रविवार (Wangchuk appealed to citizens across the country on Sunday) को एक दिन की सांकेतिक भूख हड़ताल करने की अपील (Call for a one-day symbolic hunger strike) की है। जो लोग दिल्ली नहीं आ सकते, वे अपने शहरों से उपवास के वीडियो के ज़रिए इस कैंपेन में शामिल (Join this campaign from your cities through videos of the fast.) हो सकते हैं। इस दौरान पंजाबी सिंगर काका भी धरना स्थल पर पहुंचे और छात्रों के प्रति एकजुटता दिखाई (Showed solidarity with the students.) । प्रदर्शनकारी अपनी मुख्य मांगों – एग्जामिनेशन सिस्टम में सुधार (The protesters [are pressing for] their main demands – reforms in the examination system.) और दोषी अधिकारियों के खिलाफ सख्त (Strict action against guilty officials) कार्रवाई – पर सरकार से ठोस कदम उठाने की मांग पर (Demanding concrete steps from the government) अड़े हैं।
20 जुलाई को पार्लियामेंट मार्च की तैयारी
वांगचुक ने 20 जुलाई को प्रस्तावित ‘पार्लियामेंट मार्च’ के लिए बड़े पैमाने पर लामबंदी का आह्वान (Call for large-scale mobilization) किया है। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि यह आंदोलन किसी एक संगठन का सवाल नहीं (The movement is not a matter concerning any single organization.) है, बल्कि देश के लाखों युवाओं के भविष्य का सवाल (A question concerning the future of millions of the country’s youth.) है। उन्होंने नागरिकों को याद दिलाया कि लोकतंत्र को मजबूत करने के लिए जनहित के मुद्दों (Issues of public interest to strengthen democracy) पर आवाज उठाना हर जागरूक नागरिक का कर्तव्य (Raising one’s voice is the duty of every conscious citizen.) है। आंदोलनकारियों का संकल्प साफ (The protesters’ resolve is clear.) है कि जब तक सरकार उनकी मांगों पर फैसला नहीं ले लेती (…until the government takes a decision on their demands.) , वे लोकतांत्रिक तरीके से अपना संघर्ष जारी (Continuing the struggle through democratic means.) रखेंगे।
