Breaking News: समुद्र में मछली पकड़ने वाली भारतीय नावों की सुरक्षा (Safety of Indian fishing boats at sea) और निगरानी को मज़बूत करने के लिए एक बड़ा कदम उठाया (A major step was taken to strengthen surveillance.) गया है। प्रधानमंत्री मत्स्य संपदा योजना (Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana) के तहत, देश के एक लाख जहाजों में ISRO के ट्रांसपोंडर लगाए (ISRO transponders installed on 100,000 of the country’s vessels.) जाएंगे।
364 करोड़ की बड़ी योजना
केंद्रीय मत्स्य पालन विभाग ने इस बड़े प्रोजेक्ट (The Union Department of Fisheries [has undertaken/is handling] this major project…) के लिए 364 करोड़ रुपये के नेशनल रोल-आउट प्लान को मंज़ूरी (Approval for ₹364 crore national roll-out plan) दी है। इस योजना का मुख्य मकसद खराब मौसम में मछुआरों की सही लोकेशन को ट्रैक (The main objective of this scheme is to track the precise location of fishermen during bad weather.) करना और उन्हें पड़ोसी देशों का बॉर्डर पार करने से रोकना (Preventing them from crossing the borders of neighboring countries.) है।
‘नभमित्र’ ऐप और मॉडर्न फीचर्स
इस प्रोजेक्ट के तहत, मछुआरों को मुफ़्त ट्रांसपोंडर (Free transponders to fishermen) और क्षेत्रीय भाषाओं में ‘नभमित्र’ एप्लीकेशन (‘Nabhmitra’ application in regional languages) मिलेगा। यह ऐप इमरजेंसी में SOS अलर्ट, साइक्लोन वॉर्निंग (App features SOS alerts and cyclone warnings for emergencies.) और जियो-फेंसिंग बेस्ड बाउंड्री क्रॉसिंग अलर्ट जैसे मॉडर्न फीचर्स (Modern features such as geo-fencing-based boundary crossing alerts.) देगा।
