Jabalpur News: जबलपुर की सड़कों पर ‘कुत्तों का खौफ’, बढ़ते हमलों से सहमे लोग, नगर निगम व्यवस्था पर उठे सवाल?

Jabalpur News: शहर में इन दिनों आवारा कुत्तों की बढ़ती संख्या (The Rising Number of Stray Dogs) और उनके हमलों ने आम लोगों को परेशान (Their attacks distressed the common people.) कर रखा है। नगर निगम ने बताया था कि जानवरों को राहत देने और लोगों की सुरक्षा पक्का (The Municipal Corporation had said that to provide relief to the animals and ensure the safety of the people) करने के लिए हर ज़ोन में आवारा कुत्तों के लिए शेल्टर (Shelters for stray dogs in every zone) और पीने का पानी दिया जा रहा है, लेकिन नई ताकत न्यूज़ नेटवर्क की टीम ग्राउंड जांच (Team Ground Inspection) में स्थिति बिल्कुल उलट थी। किसी भी ज़ोन में कुत्तों के लिए शेल्टर या पीने (Shelters or drinking areas for dogs in the zone) के पानी की कोई सुविधा नहीं (No facilities) थी। साफ है कि नगर निगम के दावे सिर्फ कागजों तक ही सीमित (The Municipal Corporation’s claims are limited to paper alone.) हैं। स्थानीय लोगों के मुताबिक, शहर में कुत्तों के काटने की घटनाएं तेजी (Dog bite incidents on the rise in the city) से बढ़ रही हैं। खासकर छोटे बच्चे सबसे ज्यादा परेशान (Small children, in particular, are the most distressed.) हो रहे हैं। कई इलाकों में लोग डर के साए में जी (People in many areas live in fear.) रहे हैं और बच्चों को अकेले बाहर भेजने से कतरा (Hesitate to send children out alone) रहे हैं।
फिर सड़कों पर छोड़े जा रहे कुत्ते (Dogs Being Abandoned on the Streets)
नगर निगम के स्वास्थ्य विभाग से मिली जानकारी (Information received from the Health Department of the Municipal Corporation) के मुताबिक, आवारा कुत्तों को पकड़कर वैक्सीन लगाई जाती (Stray dogs are caught and vaccinated.) है और पहचान के लिए उनके कान में ‘V’ का कट लगाया जाता है। फिर उन्हें कुछ समय आइसोलेशन (Time Isolation) में रखने के बाद वापस उसी जगह पर छोड़ दिया जाता है। हालांकि, इस प्रोसेस के बावजूद शहर में कुत्तों की संख्या (Despite this process, the number of dogs in the city) और उनके हमलों में कोई कमी नहीं (No let-up in attacks.) दिख रही है। इससे नगर निगम (Municipal council) और हेल्थ डिपार्टमेंट के कामकाज पर सवाल उठ (Questions raised over the functioning of the Health Department.) रहे हैं। वहीं, स्थानीय नागरिकों (Local citizens) का कहना है कि जब तक कोई पक्का हल नहीं (No definitive solution) निकाला जाता, समस्या और बिगड़ती जाएगी। फिलहाल, प्रशासन के दावों (The administration’s claims) और ज़मीनी हकीकत में बड़ा अंतर साफ दिख (The stark difference is evident in reality) रहा है।
