Singrauli Breaking News: इंडियन रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी(Indian Red Cross Society), सिंगरौली द्वारा चलाए जा रहे डिस्ट्रिक्ट डिसेबल्ड रिहैबिलिटेशन सेंटर (District Disability Rehabilitation Centre) (DDRC) के ज़रिए सिंगरौली रेलवे स्टेशन पर दिव्यांग लोगों (Disabled people at Singrauli Railway Station) , सीनियर सिटिजन और दूसरे ज़रूरतमंद यात्रियों की सुविधा के लिए व्हीलचेयर (Wheelchairs for the convenience of other passengers in need) दी गई हैं। इस पहल से स्टेशन आने-जाने वाले यात्रियों को काफी सुविधा (The initiative brings significant convenience to passengers traveling to and from the station.) मिलेगी।
यह सेवा इंडियन रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी के प्रेसिडेंट (To the President, Indian Red Cross Society) और डिस्ट्रिक्ट कलेक्टर(District Collector) गौरव बनल की गाइडेंस में और रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी के प्रेसिडेंट एस.डी. सिंह के डायरेक्शन (Under the direction of Red Cross Society President S.D. Singh) में दी गई। रेड क्रॉस के रिप्रेजेंटेटिव (Red Cross representative) ने रेलवे स्टेशन एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन को व्हीलचेयर सौंपते हुए यात्रियों की सुविधा (Handing over wheelchairs to the railway station administration for the convenience of passengers.और सामाजिक ज़िम्मेदारियों के प्रति अपनी कमिटमेंट (Commitment to social responsibilities) दिखाई।
इस मौके पर मौजूद अधिकारियों (Officials) और समाजसेवियों ने कहा कि दिव्यांगों को सम्मान के साथ ज़िंदगी जीने (Social workers said that disabled people should be able to live their lives with dignity.) के लिए ज़रूरी सुविधाएँ देना समाज की सामूहिक ज़िम्मेदारी (Providing essential amenities is the collective responsibility of society.) है। रेलवे स्टेशन जैसी पब्लिक जगहों पर व्हीलचेयर मिलने से दिव्यांग (Disabled people are unable to access wheelchairs in public places like railway stations.) , बुज़ुर्ग और बीमार यात्रियों को सफ़र के दौरान होने वाली (Travel complications for sick passengers) मुश्किलों से राहत मिलेगी।
रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी ने लंबे समय से हेल्थ एड (The Red Cross Society has long been engaged in health aid) , इंसानी सेवा और पब्लिक वेलफेयर के क्षेत्र में एक्टिव भूमिका निभाई (Played an active role) है। संस्था की तरफ से समय-समय पर ज़रूरतमंद लोगों के लिए कई तरह की सेवा (From time to time, the organization provides various services to the needy people.) की जाती रही है। इस सेवा में रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी मैनेजिंग कमेटी के मेंबर भूपेंद्र गर्ग भी मौजूद (Bhupendra Garg, a member of the Red Cross Society Managing Committee, was also present at the service.) थे। स्थानीय लोगों ने इस पहल की तारीफ़ (Locals praised this initiative.) की और इसे दिव्यांग लोगों के सशक्तिकरण (Empowerment) और सबको साथ लेकर चलने वाले समाज के निर्माण की दिशा में एक ज़रूरी कदम (A crucial step towards building society.) बताया।
