Singrauli News: सिंगरौली में नल-जल योजना की खुली बर्बादी; बिना टोंटी बह रहा हजारों लीटर पानी, नगर निगम कब जागेगा, लापरवाह कनेक्शनों पर कार्रवाई की उठी मांग?

Singrauli News: नगर पालिक निगम सिंगरौली क्षेत्र के कई वार्डों में नल-जल योजना के तहत लगाए गए पाइपलाइन कनेक्शनों से पानी की बर्बादी का मामला सामने (Instances of water wastage have come to light, stemming from pipeline connections installed under the ‘tap-water’ (nal-jal) scheme in several wards within the Singrauli Municipal Corporation area.) आ रहा है। पानी की सप्लाई शुरू होते ही कई कनेक्शनों से बिना टोंटी के पानी व्यर्थ बहने (As soon as the water supply begins, water flows to waste from many connections that lack taps.) लगता है। इससे एक ओर पेयजल की बर्बादी हो रही है, वहीं दूसरी ओर जल संरक्षण के प्रयासों पर भी सवाल खड़े हो रहे (On the other hand, questions are also being raised regarding water conservation efforts.) हैं।
बताया जा रहा है कि नल-जल योजना के तहत कनेक्शन लगाते समय टोंटी भी उपलब्ध कराई (A tap was also provided at the time of installing the connection under the ‘Nal-Jal’ (tap-water) scheme.) गई थी, लेकिन समय के साथ कई जगह टोंटियां टूट गईं या हटा दी (Over time, the taps in many places either broke or were removed.) गईं। इसके कारण पानी सप्लाई के दौरान लगातार बहता रहता है। कुछ स्थानों पर इन कनेक्शनों का दुरुपयोग किए जाने की शिकायतें भी सामने आती रहती (Complaints regarding the misuse of these connections also surface from time to time.) हैं।.
ऐसे मामलों को देखते हुए संबंधित विभाग को चाहिए कि नगर निगम क्षेत्र के सभी वार्डों में जांच अभियान चलाकर पानी की बर्बादी करने वाले कनेक्शनों को चिन्हित (The concerned department should conduct inspection drives in all the wards of the municipal corporation area and identify the connections that are wasting water.) किया जाए। उपभोक्ताओं को पहले टोंटी लगाने और पानी का दुरुपयोग रोकने के लिए निर्देशित किया (Consumers were instructed to first install taps and prevent the misuse of water.) जाए। इसके बावजूद लापरवाही बरतने वालों के खिलाफ नियमानुसार कार्रवाई (In accordance with the rules, [action will be taken] against those who are negligent.) की जाए। कनेक्शन काटने जैसी कार्रवाई भी संबंधित नियमों और प्रक्रिया के अनुसार की जानी (Actions such as disconnecting a connection must also be carried out in accordance with the relevant rules and procedures.) चाहिए।
वहीं, नागरिकों से भी अपील है कि यदि उनके नल-जल कनेक्शन की टोंटी टूट गई है या खराब (Citizens are also requested that if the tap of their water supply connection is broken or faulty…) हो गई है, तो तत्काल नई टोंटी लगवाएं और पानी को व्यर्थ बहने से बचाएं। जल संरक्षण केवल प्रशासन की जिम्मेदारी नहीं, बल्कि प्रत्येक नागरिक का कर्तव्य (Water conservation is not just the responsibility of the administration, but the duty of every citizen.) है। पानी की हर बूंद की कीमत समझकर उसका सदुपयोग करना ही एक जिम्मेदार नागरिक (A responsible citizen understands the value of every drop of water and uses it wisely.) की पहचान है।
